The permissions that you are showing from “data administration” are 4gl permissions. Depending on what version of Progress this is and how this database was setup and created you might also have a “sysprogress” user defined who might be the system DBA user. The 4gl and SQL engines do not share permissions. hh000
It is good practice not to grant users more privilege than they require. Depending on your data and your reporting needs, it might be all of the tables or only a subset.
